It all started with Sasha ….
Many years ago …. This is me visiting my Nan ..Sasha always came with …she was also my bathing companion …when ever I had a bath ..Sasha was my mermaid ..so I can hand on heart say , water never damaged my girl either her hair or her
When My mother bought me Sasha ,
she arrived one Christmas in her tube , and Mom had made me the most amazing collection of clothes for her …I was fascinated by them shoes and socks ….
I kept all the clothes in the tube
how I love that doll ..she has been with me ever since …I still have her clothes …still have her shoes …
Next my mother bought my Tootles …
I rescued Frida ..poor girl was so pretty but had a bad hair cut ..and cut on her face …that I sanded out ..I replaced the missing hair plugs ..but wasn’t happy with the colour match …so then I dyed her hair
Wow …had to touch up her eyes as they’re didn’t look the right colour
…but now Frida is happy. …so am I
And then it happened Diane’s Sasha day … it was local …so I went …oh ! OH so many Sasha
I wonder now what would have happened to my collecting if I hadn’t have gone that day ..I certainly wouldn’t have bought my Gotz girls ..for it was only when I saw them in person , that’s when I fell in love with them

Florrie …she really was a rescue ..wigged and painted …I took her face up off to find her original face under it all ..minus the lips …but that was fine ! …fixed her a new wig …outfit by my Mom of course
I am so content with my girls ..hard to pick a favourite…each one ..is exactly who I wanted
