Gracie picked the animals she wanted .. one for her and one for the new baby , we don’t know the sex until it’s birth , but it’s due any time NOW
I’m so pleased with them .. so is Gracie .. and of course I made a Nusse Dukke blankie bear for the new baby , like I did for Gracie ❤️
So very please with how these have turned out ..
I honk she maybe my favourite so far , the pattern is Little Witch Mimi by MissGurumi
And for the kitty I used Obscurely Small’s pattern both available on Etsy
I love the shaping for the little legs …I’m already planning Naughty Amelia Jane …one leg done
But got side tracked by the new Jumper I’m knitting myself …I’ve never learnt colourwork …so I am now …although the warmer weather is coming …and I’m trying not too loose momentum
At least the baby blankets and been finished …must save a picture here …and the baby’s bear
So many ideas …so little time and I really have to finish little Alfie’s…although I’m not enjoying the pattern
Didn’t get as much done on my journal as I planned this weekend …,but managed to do more on Baby Birds blanket …and got quite a bit on Tiffany , Paul worked on the bathroom ..I worked on Tiffany …it wasn’t until I was doing her head I realised I was using the wrong size hook , so she’s come a little larger than I planned ..but I had done to much to undo …so I tan with it …I have to admit I’m really happy with her …I’ve just got to do her hat , a little cauldron …and I have a feeling she needs a cat !
New baby due in a few weeks so I’m trying to finish another blanket and a bear ! For him/her
I’m thoroughly enjoying ..painting my little creations as I make them …so right now I have Amelia Jane ..Tiffany and Sam to make !
I really want a dot pebbles Winnie the Pooh! And I’ve started Tiffany …
I also can’t wait for my yarn bowl to arrive …and I really want to start one of my stranded jumpers when these blankets are done
Commissions this month ..which I’m really pleased about ..none Etsy sales
I suppose I should think of stocking my shop up …but I’m so happy making up orders right now
I have so much I want to do on my todo list …and not enough hours
Frida , Frida and Diego ..have gone out …I finished Gracie’s blanket …and 3 custom size boots and shoes with a Cardie …I was really pleased with those as I made them from measurements..And I made a tiny Bunny called Monty to go with Furgal the Ferret …Paul was blown away …he’s never seen anything this tiny jointed …I think I want to make a bear next
