 He was in such a state when I bought him 

Poor boy was very well loved and very battered .

He’s had his hair dyed using a combination of Rit dye , his legs cut and wobbled , using apoxy sculpt and blushed 

, his arms have been straightened and hands blushed 

Then his neck was expended , and his eyes enhanced and a soft blush of freckles 

His outfit was made by Mom … MinnieBloomers Designs 

And his boots hand made and panted by myself 

He’s lovely , we are so happy with him

Adding the details

 One of the hardest parts of adding the fine details to the boots …. White , it’s been my Achilles heal ! 

No pen is fine enough , white acrylic pens , even the finest tip is too thick , the tips dry out way too fast , Posca isn’t too bad , but again it’s too thick , the ink blobs , it’s a nightmare, 

There has been more than once I’ve come to the end , and the white details ruin it and I have to start again 

I found I was using a pin and getting the ink out of the pen … the one night whilst trawling through Facebook I saw an advert … 💡lightbulb moment 

So I bought an ink pen and some waterproof white ink 

Don’t get me wrong , it’s still nerve wracking but it’s so much better 

Now , I use the ink 

The boots will now be sealed , 2 or 3 coats … SO HAPPY LOL ( Sasha Toddler / Baby size ) 

Cora ❤️

 I wasn’t expecting to get Cora , not yet 

But in November the chance came for me to adopt Cora and a Cara , how could I resist 

Cora refused to have a new name , so Cora she remains 

She was beautiful when she arrived ,And once she had a Spa 

What a stunner she is ❤️

Scales down the design , it was hard on the eyes but Oh I love them 

Wobblers Assemble ❤️

 The past couple of weeks I’ve been redoing my wobblers , each one now has an extended neck and the legs were cut 

I heat them up , cut the leg , I  have the wooden rods inside , then I ram aluminium foil in the gap to keep it from closing up 

Then sculpt the hole with apoxy sculpt tinted with gouache

I will add more detail to my Wobbler page here when I get time x

Violet

 Not sure where the time is going but I felt like I’d missed my Sasha this month , I have those gorgeous dungarees off Mom but haven’t had the time to make the shirts … so this week I tried to make some time … and at last I’ve got them done ! 

I’ve just got to do shoes so I can photograph them ! 

Today I plan to finish my Baby  beans …make that Wobbler ! And then sort out the leather for new shoes 

But here is Violet .. fitting in beautiful now with the rest of the crew 

New style shoes

 Mom asked me for a shoe …or bootie …these remind me of the shoes an old school friend used to wear ..I will never forget the day he started school and he wore  these suede shoe type boots …

Anyway I was inspired to make them for Shadow ..my newest baby  of course I sold them and now need to make more ..but these are the Sasha size …and they also are available in baby / toddler size 

Frida …Trendon Sasha

 Sadly this poor girl had hair fall ..so she had to be wigged 

I was asked for a Frida Sasha …I wanted to capture the iconic look of Frida

 Before these are her auction photos and her face , with the paint removed and her wig removed 

I decided to wash and condition her wig , and enhance her face with watercolours …the wig came up beautiful 

Sewing and dolly mojo

 I’ve been totally out of whack since my hols …I really want to make things with my glass , but have several projects in the way before I can do this 

I need to sort out my work room ..a lot of dolls to be sold off too 

Lots of work to be done …doesn’t help that my hip has decided to give up the ghost …I’m in a lot of pain ..again and it’s affecting my mobility …still I’m still getting things done …slowly 

Hospital contacted me …x rays Monday to find out what’s going on with my swanky new hips 

And I settled down to sewing .. I don’t normally make fabric shoes …I’m not comfortable making them but the brief is a fabric shoe to go with an oriental outfit …so I did 

I used Lisa Pays Pinocchio shoe and resized it , ..perfect ..I’m quite pleased with it

I switched it from felt to Sherpa and I loved making her x 

It would make a lovely Sooty pattern x

Mathilda

 Mathilda is looking thoughtful

And I’m wonderful who or what to do next 

I can’t wait to get my airbrush going again 

I really want to do a denim bear , airbrushed,  dresses , I’m loving the frills and lace 

I also want to do the Boston Terrier and a doll 

I’m so pleased after all these years I’m happy making large bears and clothes and airbrushing ! And crochet ! 

And I can read patterns .. I’m so happy ! LOL 

Mathilda

 Today I spent the morning in the dentist … yuck 

I was very exited about getting home to finish Mathilda the goat …I’ve been working on her for a couple of weeks now ,

I jumped right in set up my kit …and nothing happened 

Then I spent the next 2 hours stripping down the airbrush to getting it to work 😡

I used to use an industrial airgun ,many years ago I used to use one ,when I was a fabricator , so I’m no stranger to stripping one down and putting it back together again ..I soon had her working 

And work it did …

I use Jacquard Dye-na-flow iron-fix silk paint ,In an Iwata airbrush and compressor it’s amazing ..I can see me using it a lot more now I’m this happy 

Finally I finished Mathilda ..she is on Etsy 

Although I will be quite happy if she doesn’t sell LOL 

My heads exploding with ideas 

I really want to do an Alpaca …and a dog …and a denim bear !

 She’s finished …for my Grandaughter ..I am thinking of making a couple for my shop , if I can find a nice plush ..or mohair ..I love plush this size as they are made to cuddle

 I removed myself from the news today …and took myself to my happy Place and have thoroughly enjoyed myself …finished up Humpty who is for sale …2 bears have homes ..Pinocchio I have to wait for some things to arrive before I can finish him ❤️
