Escape to the kitchen

The news is just gut wrenching to watch

A Ukrainian Facebook users shared images this morning , I sobbed

I bought some patterns last night of a Ukrainian artist who has escaped with her children to Poland .. so glad she has made it to safety , I can only imagine what it must be like to leave everyone and everything you love behind

So go to Etsy and buy PDF files from Ukrainian right now it may be their only income

So I escaped the news today and played in the kitchen

So exited about this x

Feeling creative

 Prep’ing patterns

I always either cut my patterns out on plastic or card so as I can keep, and reuse them

I print them off and use a decoupage medium to glue them to card and stiffen them

It takes ages , but it’s worth it 💗

Growley Cowley❤️

Another lovely bear using Lisa Paye pattern

This one is for Little Elliot who is 3 this week ❤️

Oh be still my beating heart 💗

Had to be done … I had to have … bargain at a tenner 💗

I love These girls with the coloured hair and tanned  skin tone

Really wish someone would bring back Pippa now 💗

My love jumper x

My lovely other half found out I always wanted a Norwegian jumper so he bought me the pattern and yarn , gorgeous soft touch merino wool ❤️

Can’t wait to start , but I have to finish my crochet cardie and jumper first

On the table today

 Dolls n bears ❤️ I can’t tighten up bolt joints , luckily I know a Man who can x Noah arrives 💙

Found these old photos x

I really wanted a custom Susi sad eyes after seeing a few on Pinterest ❤️ So I bought this old girl , I always find repainting larger eyes a challenge , but she turned out lovely x I must do her friend one day LOL x

It’s a windy old day today

And it felt like Christmas , 🎄went for a windy drive into Leamington to get my new phone and I had this wonderful little doll arrive , I will enjoy restoring her

Little Ted 🐻

 He’s so cute

Made from Sherpa fleece fabric ..I had to make him after I stumbled across the tutorial on You a tube

Cuddle bear by Lisa Pay

https://youtu.be/NbnJ_FmGtnc

I knew I had to make one for each of my Grandkids

Brilliant tutorial and pattern

Highly recommended , I thought bear making and have done many classes , this is the type of pattern and tutorial I would have recommend

A little Ted I am keeping ❤️

The Sherpa was very thin ..although lovely colour and so soft

So I used a thicker PVA/Glue mix …as it didn’t bleed through the fabric and wreck the pile

But next time I will make sure the Sherpa is good quality x

So distracted ❤️

Little Button was one this week …this year has gone so fast

Happy Birthday my beautiful Grandaughter

I have so many things I want to make for her …and my other Grandaughter..who I miss so much
