I’m smitten , I’m so pleased , I never thought I would be able to crochet like this ,after years of trying to learn …at last I can and all up crochet dreams can come true ❤️

And miniature bears !!!!!

I have to do the envelope boarder ..so I think perhaps another weeks work

Well this week I decided I’m not going to have a Pro Flikr account …just a standard one , and my blog , 

So I’ve been rescuing a lot of my old photographs before they vanish 

I had this beautiful old girl arrive 

She is stunning ..a couple of cracks which I can fix ..and she needs a new face up and lots of love ..She’s a Mary Lee , with her original wig …I keep calling her Betty ..so Betty she is

I’ve finished my Pigs in blankets ..which keep making me laugh ..one for each of my grandkids and one for my Sis 

Just a couple of gifts to do ..and I really think I will get my blanket

I have wanted to do these for ages like this , the outfits are  made from vintage cotton and silk .
Their face ups are done by me now , viscose wigs
Both sold ..

ive thoroughly enjoyed dressimg her ..something about fine old cotton fabric , it drapes so well on miniatures ...ams there is nothing like silk ribbon ..it just drapes so well BonBon ..managimg to look festive , fairy and springlike all at once i do have a Coco too , to dress , a d i know how i wamt her too i will try and finish her today

did some work on my blog today added links and pages and read back down the years it really is quite fasinating ..and dad inparts ..but this is me now, living happily in Warickshire in a little villagecalled Kineton , with my hunny Paul and Lola the cat . right now were doing up the house ...so I cant do many of my shoes , but shoe makimg will resume soon x im making bears and dolls and resoreing and repairing old dolls ..and crochet ..oh i love crochet ❤

my friend gave me this girl 4 years ago ..thank you Ruth , Shirly is such a pretty doll ❤ i cam see why people fall in love with them I used artist quality pastels and blended them into her skin , then sealed her with MR Super Clear ..4 years on she is still holding her colour and hasnt faded

ive tried to add my blog web address to all my links ..my old web site is deactivated ..i a, going to try a d work out how to add a oage here on my blog for my BJDs , which I still order , my boots ..which I still make , crochet , which I love and my doll resoring ..amd possible my Susi if I can atleast the everything will be in one place I am toying with the idea of closing mym Flikr which I pay for everymonth ..but domt really use much now , so im slowoly saving all the photos i love.. today Im loving these mohair miniature ..I love makimg these , ive just bought some new fabrics so i can distress and dye them ..more bears n bunnies comming in the new year 

Well my web site has gone ..i was toyimg with cancelling it and going full etsy or full etsy no site or social media sales ...so ive plummed for ..blog and etsy ebay I only use ..for selling off my old handbags and bits n bobs ..although i have a huge ...i mean huge ! box of Monsterhigh i will never get around to repainting that i must sort out i habe been doing doll restoration ..as much as i would love to do it all the time ..i cant take on dolls from outside the UK , postage is way too expensive for these big heavy dolls so UK only but im lovimg it I habe 4 ball Joint dolls to make into fullsets and shoes will come again ...but right mow we are deccoratimg the house so I have nowhere to cut out yet xx but next year ..there will be more amd i really want to make some larger shoes for these vintage dolls y use

Domain Name problems

it appears my domain name is now in the hands sof some very seedy site it wasnt up to be renewed untill mext month ..but somhow , its been sold to some chimese gambleimg / porn site i am tryimg to see if i can get it back ..but not holdimg my breath ...☹

Not enough hours in the day

Pauls retired , my orders have slowed down although im thinking of changing direction ..making more of the things i want to do , amd less thimgs I have too im lovimg doing tiny shoes ..lovimg my vintage Susi ..and i have so many crochet projects I want to fo ..my head is exploding i have my larger blanket to finish a bag for my friend , jumper for my bestie ...Rosies jumper and a sensory cube for Grace ...so i start another CAL ...mosaic crochet ..OMG IM loving it I habe this idea , i want to make myself a mosaic bag ...dont know how to do it yet ...so i joined the Cal I have 2 tnrows and some socks to do for Christmas amd the babies christmas baubles amd a couple of shawls i habe all the yarn for it so no more buyng yarn ..im getting quite a stash amd no more CAL ! untill i finish these ...I have had some of my dolls arrive ...3 for stock ..but the second half of myorder hasnt been semt ...and i need the Coco oh well Iill just jave to wait now i habeto get uo and start for the day

Never enough hours in the day

june has seen me ..playimg with Susi again ...Ive finally made my Odd eye and have had some lovely old girls to do ..i love this old cats eye finished a beautiful cardie ..for Lola Mae , and the Harmony Hydrangea for Alex and Emmas wedding ..

and Im now on a large double bed size blanket in beautiful colours amd getting some shows made ..although im not enjoying them ...and my lovely old Hare now needs dressing

what a flurry of activity ive done my Humpty Dumpty at last and Jemima and Im so happy with them i launched my Foot OF The Hill Design web site that im adding all the different things I make and enjoying myself i am missing makimg my little Blythe boots , so plan makimg more April / May

my house in Halesowen is sold ...Im dashinng about over the next 2 weeks sorting things out Pauls done my work room and my brain is exploding with new ideas but right now i just dont have the time to sit and do them ! andas we are still in full lockdown ..i dont know where the time is going , but i ha e enrolled on a Domestika course amd finally did this Alexander doll ❤️ hopefully by the end of this month ,things will settle, I cam get my orders made and some more bears cut out amd i can get my new venture off the ground alomgside my dolls and bears

A little distracted

oh my heart ...everythimg ground to a halt this month for me ..Pauls been doing my work room ....again ....I need space ..so muchwork to do and no room , no storage , no light, so we are doing my work room , rippimg out an old wardrobe , new storage , spring cleaning ..then i can get around to doing those repaints and dressing the BJDS I have repainted for stock but then my daughter went into labor

and Grace Lily made her entrance ..i couldnt be more proud of my daughter and her partner ...amd im absolutly smitted with my grandaughter
